The Honourable Radin Safiee bin Radin Mas Basiuni currently serves as the Chairperson of BDAC where he was appointed on 7th June 2022. He has over 20 years of legal experience starting from 1997 until now.
He read law in 1994 at University of London, United Kingdom and in August 1995, he earned his Certificate in Legal Practice.
He began his career in the following month at Attorney’s General Chambers as a Legal Officer. Few months afterwards, he was elevated as a Legal Counsel at the same office where he worked for over 2 years.
His judicial career started in 1997 where he first served as a Magistrate. In 2002, he was appointed as the Supreme Court’s Registrar.
In 2010, he was elevated to the position of Deputy Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court.
In May 2021, he was appointed as the Intermediate Court Judge.
In recognition of his service to the country, he was awarded with Darjah Setia Negara Brunei Yang Amat Bahagia Darjah ke-4 (P.S.B) in 2011.
