About Us
Established in 2016, Brunei Darussalam Arbitration Centre is a non-profit making company limited by guarantee. Independent from the government of Brunei Darussalam, BDAC aims to host Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) services, which include arbitration and mediation. The Centre's objective is to provide arbitration and mediation services to meet the growing demands of both domestic and foreign clients.
Embedding the vision for the future, BDAC aspires to grow its international presence and provide the highest quality of alternative dispute resolution as well as the training services for the development of skilled, competent and visionary individuals to achieve the nation’s Wawasan 2035 to establish Brunei Darussalam as an International Arbitration Centre.

Brunei Darussalam is a party to the 1958 New York Convention (on enforcement of arbitration awards). Arbitral awards are therefore enforceable in 149 countries.
